The final season of AMC’s Hell on Wheels has arrived… and we’ll be saying goodbye for a long time. But only because AMC has split the final season into two halves. So we’ll get seven episodes this summer and seven episodes next summer.
As the saga of the Union Pacific Railroad nears its conclusion, Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) now finds himself working for the Central Pacific line while searching for his missing wife and child. And it didn’t take long for Bohannon to butt heads with his new employers over their treatment of the Chinese immigrant workers. That means that Bohannon has already made an enemy out of Chang (Byron Mann), a man who is stealing money from the immigrants.
In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview scene from this week’s episode of Hell on Wheels, discovers that he can’t quite communicate with his new immigrant workers even as he tries to tell them how to dismantle a locomotive.
The second episode of the season will find Bohannon and Fong (A. Zhou) attempting to move a train over the Sierra Nevada, where trouble awaits them. Elsewhere, The Swede (Christopher Heyerdahl) continues to win the trust of Phineas (Josh Caras).
Hell on Wheels Season 5 continues this Saturday night on AMC!
