If you were hoping that The CW would start the fall season in September with the other major networks then you’re going to be disappointed. The only new thing that The CW has planned in September is a two-night event for the IHEARTRADIO Festival beginning on Tuesday, September 29.
The official start of the Fall 2015 CW season begins on Tuesday, October 6; with the season premieres of The Flash and iZombie. On Wednesday, October 7, Arrow and Supernatural return for their new seasons, while The Vampire Diaries and The Originals make their season bows on Thursday, October 8.
Reign will return on Friday, October 9, where a new season of America’s Top Model will appear behind it. Fans of Jane the Virgin will have to wait until Monday, October 19, where it will have its season premiere after the series debut of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
None of this is particularly surprising, as The CW has opted to keep its successfully paired shows on the same nights. But it does beg the question as to where The I00, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Containment will run at midseason.
