Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul is finally headlining his own drama series. But it won’t be on television.
Hulu has announced that Paul will star in its new original series, The Way. According to Hulu, the series revolves around a struggling family with ties to a controversial movement. Each episode is designed to take “an in-depth look at what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want.”
Paul is slated to produce The Way and he play Eddie Cleary, a recent convert to the movement is suffering a crisis of faith because “all that he’s come to accept as truth in his life is fundamentally challenged.” Michelle Monaghan (True Detective) has already been cast as Sarah Cleary, Eddie’s wife.

Paul’s previous roles include Big Love, Smashed, Need For Speed, and his three-time Emmy winning turn as Jesse Pinkman on Breaking Bad. Paul’s upcoming films include, Triple 9, Eye in the Sky, and Central Intelligence.
The Way was created by Jessica Goldberg, who will serve as an executive producer on the series. The Way will premiere this winter on Hulu.
