Jackass 3 Blu-Ray Release Red Carpet Interviews

CraveOnline headed out to the DVD / Blu-Ray release party for Jackass 3 at Paramount Studios in Hollywood earlier this week, and the fun was on in full force. In addition to chatting it up with the stars of the film  (in stores now on Blu-Ray and DVD), we were witness to some bizarrely awesome red carpet shenanigans, including a game off "butt darts," in which members of the cast throw darts at the bare bottom of a beautiful girl.

Guests such as Kat Von D and Tony Hawk stopped in to lend their support, as well as the Jackass 3 crew, including Johnny Knoxville (celebrating his 40th birthday this week), Ryan Dunn, Jason “Wee Man” Acuna, Preston Lacy, Chris Pontius, Ehren McGhehey, Steve-O, Bam Margera, and director Jeff Tremaine.

Check out our red carpet footage for some candid convos and an eyeful of "butt darts" fun:

The event let guests sample some very Jackass-ian activities, such as sumo wrestling (with an actual sumo wrestler!), a zip line, velcro wall, Euro bungee and Wrecking Ball. We don’t want to incriminate ourselves, but suffice to say these guys sure know how to throw a party – we’ll definitely say that much.

The Jackass 3 Blu-ray/DVD combo pack ($29.99) is out now from Paramount Home Entertainment, and includes a digital copy of the film, unrated and theatrical versions of the film, an MTV making-of special, as well as a whopping 11 deleted scenes, 29 outtakes and a trailer. The DVD included can be watched in 3D, with four pairs of anaglyph glasses included.

For Jackass 3, the crew enlisted the help of "Beavis & Butthead" mastermind Mike Judge, NFL players Jared Allen, Josh Brown and Erik Ainge, and actors Seann William Scott and Edward Barbanell, among others. Despite the wall-to-wall treacherous hilarity they crammed into the 99 minutes’ runtime in the unrated version of the film, there was nearly an entire new film’s worth of material that didn’t make the cut.

Paramount Digital Entertainment release another installment of footage shot during the film into Jackass 3.5, available on April 1. Keep your eyes peeled!
