Video: Kanye Covered ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and Glastonbury Lost Its Mind

The egomaniacal rapper played right into Glasto's hands on Saturday, defying a crowd who protested his placement on the bill with a cover of Queen's iconic track.

The singalong was nearly deafening from the very beginning: when Kanye West took the stage for his hugely-controversial headlining slot at Glastonbury 2015 on Saturday, he threw a curveball nobody saw coming – and everyone lost their shit over.

Clearly, Dave Grohl’s prediction that Kanye might be the greatest show of all time was taken as a challenge by the egomaniacal hobbit-loving asshole superstar. He delivered a possibly-pandering, definitely-halfassed cover of Queen’s legendary song “Bohemian Rhapsody,” which consisted of just one verse, but it was enough to win over the tens of thousands on hand – many of whom undoubtedly took part in the petition to have him removed from the bill just a few months ago.
