With Record Store Day just a few weeks away (April 21st), a collaboration between The Flaming Lips and Bon Iver has surfaced in advance of the odds-and-ends vinyl field day next month. 
Have a listen to one installment from the upcoming collaborative album The Flaming Lips And Heady Fwends, this one with Bon Iver‘s Justin Vernon, who collaborates on a track called "Ashes in the Air". The song is an utter mess of melancholy nonsense, like a sad Arcade Fire song put through a mosquito-infested compressor and rubbed all over the scraggly beard of Mr. Vernon. Listen below:
