Mako sharks are really building up an online presence lately. Earlier in the week, a mako interrupted an underwater photo shoot, and now we have this: a mako that performed nine flips in the air. And it was all caught on camera.
The Shark de Soliel performance took place at the Flying Mako catch-and-release charity fly-fishing tournament in Mission Bay, Calif. Alex Beck hooked the shark, Mark Martin captained the boat and Keith Langford managed to keep the camera steady enough to capture the action.
All three provided the appropriate commentary by screaming more and more hysterically with each flip.
