Eloise Mumford is an America actress. In August 2013, she signed a talent holding deal with ABC and ABC Studios. She is probably best known for her role in the short-lived series “The River.”
Eloise Mumford's other credits include stints on “Lone Star,” “Crash," “Law & Order: SVU” and “Mercy.” When she filmed “Lone Star,” she said she liked living in Texas, but the heat took a bit to get used to.
Eloise attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts to study acting. While she was in New York, she also studied with the Atlantic Theatre Company. Before that, she was home-schooled through the fifth grade.

She got the acting bug when she was 7-years old while watching a Capital Playhouse production of “South Pacific.” “I was singing ‘I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair’ the whole rest of the year.”
What’s really interesting, though, is that she once taught Transylvanian kids English, right near the castle of Vlad The Impaler. She was traveling through Europe trying to decide what to do with her life when she stopped and became a teacher.
“It was just incredible. I was a senior in high school and not quite sure what I wanted to do. I really wanted to act, but it’s a really hard profession to go into.” She said the experience “game me a perspective and shaped me incredibly.”
She is not very active on social media.

As to her time on “The River,” Eloise Mumford said about filming, whether in helicopters or boating, “That’s what is sometimes so thrilling about being an actor; you get to experience these things that otherwise you’d never get the chance to do.”
Eloise Mumford is currently single and resides in Los Angeles, California.
