Daisy Lowe is an English fashion model and one of our absolute favorite women around. She's beautiful, sexy, and has that edge that would whip any man into shape. Lowe has appeared in numerous international magazines, such as "Elle" and "Vogue," and in campaigns for Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton, among others.
Lowe was born in Primrose Hill, North London to mother, Daisy Lowe. When her mother, a singer-songwriter turned fashion designer, moved to Hampshire for work, Daisy stayed back with her grandparents to continue her education at South Hampstead High School. She was discovered at age 15 by a talent scout in Camden Town and, subsequently, signed with Select, a London-based modeling agency.
Lowe has been featured in numerous international magazines, such as "Elle" and "Vogue." Her first feature came at age 17 in "Italian Vogue." She has recently appeared in campaigns for Marc by Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, , DKNY, Mango, and Esprit, among others.
In 2011, Daisy posed topless for "Esquire" and fully nude in Playboy. To comfort Daisy for the Playboy spread, her grandmother offered her some encouraging words: "Oh, darling, if you've got it, flaunt it; you'll be happy about it when you're 60." Wise words.
Daisy discovered as a teenager that she was the love child of a one-night affair between Bush frontman, Gavin Rossdale, and her mother, Pearl Lowe. When Daisy came to the conclusion that she wasn't biologically-linked to her mother's ex-husband, she found out that Rossdale -- her godfather -- was in fact her real father. Rossdale was married to Gwen Stefani at the time (they're still together).
She has been linked to high-profile celebrities, such as Matt Smith, star of the BBC series "Doctor Who," as well as music producer Mark Ronson.
In regards to her profession, Daisy said, "Modelling is a cool outlet for me to express myself, and fashion has always fascinated me. I love that fashion crosses into my other passions – music and art."
